Other derby highlights:
Captained the Danish national men’s roller derby team to a win over Germany in 2014. Bench coached Copenhagen Roller Derby in an undefeated showing at the first WFTDA sanctioned tournament in the Asia-Pacific region, the Japan Open in 2016.

Other interests:
I am an environmental scientist specializing in Life Cycle Assessment with a background in architecture and urban design. In my daily life, I work quantifying (and ensuring correct quantification of) potential environmental impacts of raw materials and products. I also like to golf (working on getting to a single digit handicap) and downhill ski, having raced as a child.

How I got my derby name:
I was given no choice but to accept the name ‘Chuckles’ given to me by my team (at the time), the Twin Cities Terrors, as I tended to laugh whenever I took a good hit. “
