11/11 – Rose Petals: Intro To Junior Derby Day! (Ages 7-12)
Have you or a young person you know been dreaming of strapping on skates, joining a fun and supportive community, and learning new skills?
Join us for a special Intro-to-Derby Day Camp and give skating a try!
Aspiring skaters aged 7-12 will be get to learn some basic derby skills with help of our awesome, friendly coaches. If you’re interested in joining Rose City Rollers as a member, we’ll be hosting an online orientation for parents the following the camp.

*Please note this is open to mixed ages of 7-12 year olds. All skaters must be fully vaccinated to attend.

What you’ll need:
Skates, Pads, Helmet – Don’t have your own? No sweat! Our gear lending library has you covered and loaners are included in your reservation for the program – just make sure to fill out your gear section of the registration.

Have your own? Even better! You’ll need a low boot (like the ones pictured above). High boot or in-line skates won’t work. Helmet should be rated for multi-impact. A bike helmet is not suitable for derby.
* Mouthguard – Mouthguards are required. You can bring your own or we offer a non-moldable kind for $5 add-on charge.
* Water bottle – hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
* Snacks – bring a small snack that will help give you energy. Protein bars are great.
