Junior Skater Orientation – March 2019

Considering joining Junior Roller Derby or know someone who is? Awesome! Rose City Rollers’ Junior Derby Programs are the best in the world.

Youth skaters aged 12-17 are welcome to join the Seedlings training program. Youth skaters aged 7-12 may join the Rose Petals as Butterflies. Please Note: New skaters aged 7-12 must be able to skate comfortably unassisted (without holding on to someone) and safely come to a stop prior to joining.

The Seedlings & Butterflies are the groups where junior derby skaters begin their journey! Seedlings & Butterflies will be eligible to join home teams on the Rosebuds and Rose Petals after achieving skating skills requirements.

So, if you want to learn awesome skating skills and become a part of the supportive and empowering community that is derby, this is the day to start your derby adventure!
