We’re recruiting some very important positiosns!
Are you interested in becoming an RCR official (on or off skates!)? Do you have medical background or are in training? We want you to join our team!
We’re hosting an open house on Saturday, January 29th at 12:30pm where you can learn more about these positions (and Rose City Rollers in general, if you’re not familiar!). Following this will be a live derby scrimmage staring at 3pm that you’re invited to watch. There’s no better way to learn about all of the exciting positions available than to see them in action, and to dive in yourself!

This includes the on-skates and off-skates roles. We welcome everyone, from those that want to blow the whistle, to those that want to flex their skills with a stopwatch, all skills and no skills – we will teach you! All Volunteers get into games for free, and earn points in the volunteer system for free game tix and RCR merchandise.
Opportunities in Safety:
On a good night, we have a boring job for you, standing watch as part of our medical team. When needed, however, you can be a literal life-saver for our community!
We are looking for people that are trained OR are in training to become healthcare professionals, EMTs, Athletic Trainers, Physicians Assistants interested in training to assist our paid and insured 1st chair medics, Katie and Kayla, in assessing trackside care during our exciting games. These valuable folx ALWAYS get a free ticket for themselves and a guest.

Everyone is welcome! As we get closer to returning to live play, we need to begin training for all officiating and safety positions across our adult and junior skating programs.
Join us to see these fun opportunities in action; there is a position for everyone. Just like any roller derby event, we’re here to have fun! Join us for pizza, beer, and other snacks and beverages, and lots of excitement as we plan another awesome season for our World Champion League.
