Position Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Development Coordinator to support our fundraising and sponsorship efforts. In this part-time role, you will play a vital role in maintaining donor and sponsor relationships, managing data systems, and supporting key initiatives that drive our mission forward.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sponsorship Support: Assist with the administration and renewal of sponsorships, ensuring that sponsor relationships are well-managed and deliverables are tracked and fulfilled.
  • Donor Engagement: Maintain accurate donor records and assist in communications to strengthen relationships with our supporters.
  • Data Management: Oversee the organization and upkeep of our donor and sponsorship databases to ensure timely reporting and efficient workflows.
  • Fundraising Campaigns: Provide support for appeals and campaigns, including crafting communications, organizing data, and helping to coordinate outreach efforts.
  • Administrative Support: Act as a point of contact for development inquiries, process donation requests, and ensure smooth execution of development operations.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of development experience or equivalent nonprofit experience
  • Experience working with diverse employee, member, volunteer, and donor base
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of database programs (Microsoft Office, Little Green Light, MS Teams, ClickUp)
  • Able and willing to work from home on personal equipment (computer, phone, etc.)
  • Reliable transportation to the venue and other off-site locations as needed
  • Strong self-starter with organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
  • Passion for supporting community-driven initiatives and nonprofit work.

Work Schedule: This role is designed to be 10 hrs./wk. part-time, non-exempt. Outside of activities and meetings, work is done from a home office, typically M-F, between 9-5.

Compensation: $24 per hour, reviewed annually. Benefits paid vacation, sick time, a flexible schedule, and a monthly tech stipend, and participation in Oregon Saves Retirement.
