Adult Intro to Derby Series (JUNE 15 – JULY 13)

Sign up now for the next Intro to Derby Series beginning on June 15th! Learn derby skills like how to fall, stop, and crossover! More advanced skaters will learn backwards skating, lateral movement, and transitions (changing from forwards to backwards skating while rolling).

⭐️ FOUR 2-hour sessions on Saturdays from 8 to 10 am (6/15, 6/22, 6/29 and 7/13). NO practice on 7/6
⭐️ Rental skates and gear are included
⭐️ ASL interpretation is provided

Must be: ⁠
– 18+ years old⁠
– Able to stand on skates unassisted and get up from a fall without help⁠
– Fully vaccinated⁠ against Covid-19
– Identify with the WFTDA Statement on Gender

What you’ll need:

• Skates, Pads, Helmet – Don’t have your own? No sweat! Our gear lending library has you covered! Loaners are even included in your reservation for the program (just make sure to fill out your gear section of the registration).
• Mouthguard – Sisu is our preferred brand because it can be remolded, We offer them for $20. We also have a non-moldable kind for $5. *SISU mouthguards will need to be picked up before the series starts, more info to come.
• Water bottle – hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
• Snacks – bring a small snack that will help give you energy. Protein bars are great.
