RCR vs. Rat City Rollergirls Bout and Partnership Kick-Off with Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest

Portland, OR (March 23, 2011) – On Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Memorial Coliseum, Seattle’s Rat City Rollergirls will creep onto Rose City Rollers’ home turf for Sibling Rivalry II.  Home teams: Breack Neck Betties vs. Derby Liberation Front; Guns ‘n Rollers vs. Throttle Rockets; Heartless Heathers vs. Grave Danger; High Rollers vs. Socket Wenches.

When Seattle played host to these same match-ups in February for Sibling Rivalry I, Rat City won the first two bouts and Rose City won the second two.  The teams were matched based on their respective intra-league rankings from 2010.  The cities’ teams have been nemesisters since they were founded in 2004 and the rivalry runs deep.  With teams ratcheting up their skill, stamina and speed, the fire between the sisters has only intensified.

RCR fans’ favorites are expected to play including Wheels of Justice’s White Flight and Layla Smackdown, as well as Rat City’s superstars, Carmen Getsome, Re-AnimateHer and RCR ex-patriot Goody Two Skates.  Fans also won’t want to miss RCR’s newest rising stars, Scald Eagle (GNR) and Giv’er No Quarter (BNB)
